The brands listed below specialize in the noble art of making solid wood furniture. Walnut, oak and ash are central to Maruni and Koyori, as are German E15 and Italian Mattiazzi. In addition to these well-known woods, Finland’s Nikari also specializes in working with birch.

Japanese MAS exclusively uses Hinoki wood, sourced from the iconic Japanese conifer. And the stylish rust-brown Japanese Keyaki wood with its beautiful grain is featured in the Karimoku Case collection alongside their locally sourced oak.
